The organizing committee of this International Symposium on Electrochemistry for Energy Conversion and Storage warmly invites you to participate in this meeting to be held August 22 to 25, 2009 at Three Gorges, one of the ten natural wonders all over China .
        This symposium aims to provide an enjoyable get-together of scientists working on all aspects of electrochemical power sources.

The symposium will focus on the fundamental and applied aspects of energy conversion and storage using fuel cells, batteries and electrochemical capacitors. Papers are solicited addressing the recent advances in the science and technology of these power sources and their hybrid combinations.
* Mechanistic and material studies on fuel cell catalysis.
* Novel hydrogen or lithium storage materials for applications of hydrogen fuel cells and batteries.
* Novel electrolytes for electrochemical devices working at low and high temperatures.
* New experimental methods for mechanistic and material studies.
* Computational studies on reaction mechanism and material design.
* New systems of electrochemical energy conversion and storage.
* The electrochemistry in solar cells.
